The PDQ, our lightweight, compact HPLC system designed for minimal maintenance, incorporates the best features of Primus diagnostics to provide all the advantages of a large analyzer in a small footprint unit. It is available in two models—a single on-demand direct injection PDQ StandAlone or the automated PDQ Plus. Both units provide automatic sample dilution without operator intervention. Positive patient ID is achieved through the bar-code reading feature. The PDQ provides interference-free GHb/A1c results in 2 minutes with CV’s of <2%. Designed for use in the clinic and small to medium size laboratories.
PDQ Plus
This platform offers all of the advantages of the PDQ in a fully automated analyzer that provides sample processing of up to 28 patients per sample run. These instruments are precise, fast, versatile and easy to operate.
ultra2 A1c Analyzer
The A1c assay combines the speed and precision of HPLC with the accuracy of boronate affinity technology providing a precise assessment of true glycemic status in 2 minutes with CV’s of <1%. The glycohemoglobin level is unaffected by conditions that can seriously affect HbA1c levels in other methods such as sample degradation, hemoglobin variants, patient renal status or non-glucose adducts. In addition to the total glycohemoglobin result, HbA1c levels (certified as traceable to the DCCT/NGSP & IFCC reference methods) and estimated mean blood glucose levels are available on each patient. Automated sample handling, bar-code reading, simple, menu-driven Windows XP software, on-line sample prep from primary tube and LIS interface are some of the features of the ultra2.
